2.1 Website visitors
In general, website visitors may browse through our website without providing us with any personal information (defined below) about them (though they will provide non-identifying information, as described below).
Like most website operators, ALTATEC collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use its website.
ALTATEC also collects information which is potentially personally-identifying, like for example internet protocol (IP) addresses. IP addresses are anonymised when used for functions such as analysis.
2.2 Gathering of personally-identifying information
Certain visitors to ALTATEC choose to interact with ALTATEC in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. “Personally-identifying information” is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, and it may include information such as your name, job titles, postal and delivery addresses, e-mail address, phone number, fax number as well as any other identifying information you choose to provide to us or upload to our systems in connection with the services.
In each case, ALTATEC collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with ALTATEC. ALTATEC does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
